King’s Cross Stories #1

He was brushed aside by a young gentlemen in a hurry, who ran accross the usual flow of lunchtime pedestrians and purposefully deposited a coffee cup in the gutter. His assertion - that it's not litter now - went unchallenged.

Hello Tom, Can you recommend any articles related to user movement around airports, train stations, streets?

I have a collection of links at del.icio.us/TomC/pedestrians, but I’m not sure what else to recommend. It depends what you’re interested in - articles differ depending on their focus. Some people concentrate on evacuation for example, but I’m not really interested in that.As a starting point, I’d take a look at the work of Space Syntax and also Crowd Dynamics. They’re both Google-friendly.
